
Prof. Weizhu Tian
Weizhu Tian, Professor, Chief Physician, Doctoral Supervisor, National Top TCM doctors, Liaoning TCM Master. Graduated from Liaoning College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1967. Engaged in teaching, medical and scientific research. He has 55 years of clinical and teaching experience.
From 1986 to 1989, he served as the director of the acupuncture teaching and research section and the director of the acupuncture department.
From 1989 to 1991, he participated in the medical team assisting Arab Yemen.
From 1989 to 1991, according to the arrangement of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, he became the legal academic successor of Professor Peng Jingshan, a National Great TCM Master. Peng Jingshan, the inventor of eye acupuncture therapy.
He is currently the executive director of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies, the chairman of the Eye Acupuncture Professional Committee of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies, the executive director of the Academic Committee of the World Eye Acupuncture Research Center, and the deputy director of the Safety Research Committee of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies. Deputy Director of the Standardization Approval Committee of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies Research Committee on Safety of External Treatment of Chinese Medicine, Vice Chairman of the International TCM Minimally Invasive Alliance of the China Association of Chinese Medicine, Deputy Director and Secretary-General of the National Special Acupuncture Research Committee, Liaoning Acupuncture Society Senior Consultant, Visiting Professor of Doctoral School of International Medical University, Doctor of Medicine. He improved, enriched, and carried forward the eye acupuncture technique, and for the first time proposed the “eight areas and eight points” theory of eye acupuncture.
